On this project our client had acquired a partial PEB building kit - our client requested that we use several substituted materials in order to complete the structure with minimal extra expense. We were able to do so by utilizing our skills with welding and fabrication.
We were subcontracted on this custom log cabin build to construct the below pictured base and custom fireplace. With a 24” footer, 12’ of cinderblocks to reach level with the floor, and core filled 10” shy of the top we insured this fireplace would withstand the test of time.
We then installed IsoKern Earth Core magnum 48 fireplace with a beautiful herringbone stone interior finish.
Our client came to us with the concern of the lack of support columns on his covered porch where the previous owner had removed them.
He wanted an affordable column option, and we constructed rustic columns from 4x4 posts which we clad in white pine to create the full sturdy look of the finished columns
